ORLANDO CITY CHOOSE TO PLAY DEFENCE

Orlando City played a goalless draw with Toronto on Wednesday night.

Each side picked a point each after the game played at BMO field. Orlando City would not be too happy with the results as the draw left them five points away from the red line in the Eastern Conference. The club would be focused on getting it right in the next three games.

Orlando City Secure Comfortable Win over Philadelphia Union

Orlando City failed to make it to the play-offs and their fate was decided more than two weeks ago.

Yet, manager Jason Kreis believes that there is a strong foundation for the club to build upon. Even with former world Player of the Year Kaka, they were unable to make an impact in the MLS campaign. A string of poor results from the start of September ultimately sealed the fate of the club as far as the 2016 season is concerned. Since the 4-1 win over Montréal Impact, the team has been able to get only one point and it came in the goalless draw against Toronto.

Toronto regain top spot

Toronto FC regained the top spot in the MLS Eastern Conference after its game against Orlando City. Toronto played a goalless draw with City with a controversial red card awarded the host. The fans would not be happy with yet another draw at home. Toronto have lost a stretch of valuable points in home games.

“We demand more from ourselves, from our teammates. It’s never a bad thing to not lose, but some games you have to win. I think if we win just one of these last three [at home] then we’re in a little better mood and a little better position,” veteran defender Drew Moor said.

KAKA BACKS KREIS

Jason Kreis was not so sure if he should grab the offer of Orlando City with both hands when it had come to him because of his experience at his previous office New York City FC where he was unfairly and painfully given the axe.

The former America international had heard about Orlando axing their manager too almost at the same time when he was axed from his job and so, he was thinking if the mentality at that club is also the same as it was at NYCFC that a manager can’t survive if he doesn’t ensure playoffs.

Kaka claims that there will be a lot of pressure on midfielder Paul Pogba

Former Real Madrid and AC Milan midfielder Kaka claims that there will be a lot of pressure on midfielder Paul Pogba following his world record transfer to Old Trafford.

Pogba has made the £ 89 million switch to Manchester United in a move which has drawn an equal number of raised eyebrows due to the fee. Pogba is probably the first box to box midfielder to have commanded such an incredible transfer fee. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez are cheaper than him following this record move, but they are capable of scoring significantly more than Pogba.

Adrian Heath confirms Kaka away from many Upcoming Games

Orlando City head coach Adrian Heath has confirmed that midfielder Kaka is unlikely to play in the upcoming game against San Jose Earthquakes due to a new injury issue.

The midfielder has been plagued by injury problems in the last five years. They have definitely not gone away even after joining Orlando City. However, he has been one of the shining lights for the MLS outfit whenever he has been on the pitch. Aware of the injury problems for the Brazilian star, Orlando have been able to modify their play substantially in order to overcome his absence from time to time.

Kaka helping in the recruitment process

Kaka is helping Orlando City SC find out talented Brazilian prospect for their team.

Indeed the former AC Milan midfielder has been helping the MLS team with their recruitment process. So far the Brazilian midfielder has helped his new team secure the signing of both Antonio Nocerino and Julio Baptista. It is believed that the player may still use his Brazil connections to bring more Brazilian players to the team.

The Orlando City SC head coach Adrian Heath has admitted that many players such as Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, and Ashley Cole are using their connections so as to bring players to the MLS. He believes that it is the same thing with Kaka and that it is a great way for Orlando City SC to get some world-class players in their team.

Ricardo Kaka is grateful for everything that has happened in his career

Ricardo Kaka is one of the more well renowned stars in the world of football and one of the reasons of this was due to the fact that he lifted the Ballon d’Or as the Brazilian player was considered to be the best performer in the world back in 2007.

The Brazilian footballer even received more votes than Lionel Messi and C.Ronaldo as he secured the prestigious individual award a few years ago and it probably was the peak of his career.

Adrian Heath to Coach Kaka

Adrian Heath has been managing North American soccer teams for eight years now.

Just when it seemed that he has seen everything in the league, Orlando City FC brought in Brazilian midfielder Kaka. Despite being at the tail end of his career, the opportunity to coach Kaka is something of a great pleasure to Heath.

Kaka Stays In Touch With His Fans

Kaka is known to be quite communicative when it comes to expressing opinions, showing the way to his fans and fans in general of the football world.

Quite recently he spoke out in favor of Cristiano Ronaldo and how he deserved more respect from his fans for the performances and extraordinary skills he had shown in his past matches. Recently he also spoke out when the Orlando City club decided to move its training department to facilities in Lake Nona.
