PIAZON WANST EXPERIENCE

Chelsea midfielder Lucas Piazon, who recently joined Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem on a loan deal till the end of the season, has said that he is hoping to gain a lot of first-team experience. The Brazilian midfielder has been regarded as the next Kaka.

However, he has dismissed the suggestions by saying that he is a completely different player to Kaka, but comparisons are unavoidable because he looks very like the former AC Milan midfielder. The 31-year-old is regarded as one of the best players of his generation. He won the FIFA Ballon d’Or award when he was playing for AC Milan.

Now, he is at Real Madrid after a record £ 62 million move to the club. Even though he has not been as effective at Real, he is still adored by many Brazilians. Lucas Piazon has come to the Chelsea ranks in the last few years. He spent the last season on loan at Spanish club Malaga where he made 11 appearances in all competitions. As a result of the huge competition at Chelsea, he would have been unable to get regular first-team football. Hence, the club decided to send him out on loan to Dutch football. At Vitesse Arnhem, he is expected to be first-team regular.

"We are both Brazilian and came from the same club. He is more a midfielder and I am an attacker. Kaka, however, is my idol. As a young player, I really look up to him. The comparison is mainly because of our looks," said the youngster after joining the Dutch club. Vitesse Arnhem recently sold midfielder Marco van Ginkel to Chelsea for around £ 8 million, but this deal is not believed to be linked with this sale. Vitesse Arnhem finished closer to the top of the table last season and will be hoping for a punt at the title this season.
