Kaka is back in action after missing First Three Games

After missing the first three games of the MLS season, Orlando City’s superstar Kaka is back in action.

The former Real Madrid and AC Milan superstar could make his 2016 debut for the team against Portland Timbers. Orlando City have been one of the higher ranking teams in the Eastern conference at the start of the campaign. The club are unbeaten so far and they have had to thank other teams for dropping points already. The club have taken five points from the opening three matches. The return of Kaka to the starting line-up is expected to go a long way into helping the club rise up the table even further.

The Brazilian midfielder admitted that it has been a very tough time for him to watch the game from the sidelines. Kaka was expected to make the season opener against Real Salt Lake, but he suffered a thigh injury just before the start of the match. The 33-year-old says that he has been feeling the pain of until last week, but now he is 100% ready to get back into the action. Kaka is expected to start much higher up the field than he did last season. This was the plan during pre-season and the Brazilian says that it is very much still on.

“It was a tough period. But I always take experiences on the bright side. If it was one week before, it would be much worse. So, it's OK, no problem, I'm ready to play now. It was a tough period, but I'm ready now. It is sometimes an emotional thing and we have to work on that, but I think we have had good progress the past week. We trained a lot on this. We can't lose opportunities that we have,” said the Brazilian ahead of this weekend.
