KAKA BACKS AC

AC Milan star Kaka has given his backing towards under pressure manager Clarence Seedorf, who is on the verge of being sacked only a few weeks after taking over the managerial reins from Massimiliano Allegri.

Seedorf is one of the celebrated players at Milan, but his return to the club’s manager appears to be on the verge of ending. He took over from Allegri only a couple of months ago when the team were on the verge of getting into the top 10 of the table. However, a disastrous run of form has seen Milan slipped to 12th in the table.

Apart from going out of the Champions League in an embarrassing 5-1 defeat against Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid, the club are also without a victory in the last five matches of all competitions. Seedorf has overseen seven defeats in the last 12 matches as a manager. There have been rumours coming from Milan that he could be sacked before the end of the season if results do not improve. The club are already looking to appoint former striker Filippo Inzaghi, who is in charge of the youth team at the club. The striker has achieved incredible success with the youth team and he could be promoted to manage the senior team with Seedorf being shown the door.

Kaka, though, Seedorf will manage to get results with time.

"I personally am happy but, just like my team-mates, I cannot be satisfied with the results. The dressing room is united. We are trying to get out of this situation and it's up to us because we are we the ones that have to play. What I want to say to the fans is that there must be togetherness in these difficult times and that we will come out of together,” said Kaka.
