What does the future hold for Ricardo Kaka?

Ricardo Kaka has a contract with the MLS side Orlando City which extends until December of 2017 which is only a few months away. The question that is beginning to emerge is surrounding the future of the Brazilian player as to which club will he join when that time arrives.

Ever since Kaka joined Orlando City back on 2014, the Brazilian player has been a regular starter. Despite being 35 years old, he is one of the more influential performers in the MLS outfit.

There was a point in time during the playing career of Ricardo Kaka that he was the best footballer in the world and this occurred back in 2007 when he was awarded with the Ballon d´Or award after receiving more votes than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, both of which still had not started dominating the world of football as they are doing right now with various individual awards being given to those superstars.

The former Ac.Milan star is not the same player that he used to be a few years ago but nonetheless, every now and then he does display sparks of brilliance which helped him push Ac.Milan to the top of the world during the season of 2006-07 when the Italian outfit lifted the UEFA Champions League.

Age is just a number but class is permanent, this is something that can certainly be applied to Kaka and if he indeed wants to continue performing beyond what his contract has stipulated, he´s a player that can attract the attention of clubs that don’t factor in age as something that important such as clubs in the Chinese Super League.

Another option that Kaka has is to simply hang up his boots and call it a day as the Brazilian already has a superb curriculum in his playing career after lifting major titles with his former clubs Real Madrid and Ac.Milan.
