Kaka remains as a favourite player for several football fans

Former AC Milan and Real Madrid midfielder Kaka remains as a favourite player for several football fans around the world.

Even many players still regard him as one of the finest players to have graced the current generation. Kaka won the FIFA Ballon d’Or award once in his career. He was a major factor in AC Milan winning their last Champions League title in 2007. Kaka suffered numerous injuries towards the latter part of his career in Europe. This led to his early move to the MLS where he joined Orlando City. Kaka is one of the highest-paid players in North American football.

However, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey reveals that the Brazilian remains as his favourite player despite his recent decline. Kaka was at the peak of his powers when Ramsey was just making his name in the Arsenal youth teams. The Wales midfielder went on to create a powerful image by scoring lots of goals a few seasons ago. Kaka was not known for scoring in a prolific manner, but he created an impact in big matches without fail. He was the main reason behind Milan beating Manchester United over two legs on the way to the Champions League win.

Ramsey says that the influence put by Kaka on his game is second to none.“They like to express themselves and play football in a certain way, that’s very easy on the eye. The whole world likes to watch Brazil play football. The one player that really stood out for me was Kaká.The way he used to play made it all look so easy, the graceful way that he used to take player on was quite special and unique. He plays in a similar position to me, so he was the one that always really stood out for me,” said Ramsey.
