Bayern Munich is not ready to let Real Madrid acquire the services of Robert Lewandowski

Since Bayern Munich is not ready to let Real Madrid acquire the services of Robert Lewandowski at an amount of less than hundred million Euros, the Whites top brass is starting to think about backing out from the pursuit of the Poland International now.

The talks between Madrid and Munich regarding Lewandowski have been going on from the last year itself, but, there has been no mutual consent yet. And, Madrid, according to the reports, has given up on it.

The head coach Zidane is believed to be quite eager for this particular deal, but, the chairman is a bit reluctant to spend that much of an amount on Lewandowski.

Lewandowski might not come, but, one player who is believed to be on his way back to Madrid for sure is Alvaro Morata.

When Madrid had sold Morata to the Italian club Juventus, an agreement had been signed at that time itself that the player could be bought back by Madrid at a fixed transfer price in future.

Madrid is looking to use that clause now after seeing what Morata has done in Italy and Europe in the past couple of seasons.

While, nothing has been said on record by any member of the Madrid coaching staff or Madrid board as yet, reports from close sources say that the player’s comeback to Bernabeu is almost certain.

It was Morata who was responsible for Juventus piping Madrid in the Round of 4 in the European Cup the previous season.

The 23-year old Spaniard had scored for the White-Blacks in both the legs and had led them to a win of 3-2 on aggregate.

Of late though, Morata’s strike rate at Juventus has been on the lower side. He has looked slightly clumsy.
