KAKA IS BACK

The chief Executive Officer of AC Milan, Adriano Galliani, has lauded Kaka for putting up a number of top class performances for the club over the years and has rated him as one of the club legends.

Kaka’s current tenure at Milan is his second one. His first tenure was 6-year long which came to an end in 2009. He played close to 200 league matches for the Italian club during that period and scored 70 goals.

The Brazilian was bought by the Spanish giants Real Madrid before the beginning of the 2009-10 Season, but, he didn’t have a great time there. It’s not that he didn’t play well at all at Santiago Bernabeu, but, he definitely couldn’t perform as well as he was expected to. During last summer, he finally decided that his time was up at Madrid and he returned back to Milan.

The veteran midfielder has started his second tenure at San Siro quite well. He has looked in form and has already made a few match defining contributions for his side this season. He hasn’t found himself in the starting line up regularly, but, whenever he has got the chance, he has made sure that he doesn’t disappoint the club management with his performances.

In the Serie A 2013-14, Kaka has featured for Milan in 13 matches and has managed to find the back of the net 5 times.

When asked about Kaka’s contributions for Milan, Galliani said, “I think he can be called a legend here at Milan now. He is loved by one and all. The club supporters treat him as a special player.”
“Some people were worried that he might not be able to perform as well as his first tenure, but, his performances so far have been brilliant.”
