Inter Milan have emerged as the favourites to sign Real Madrid star Kaka. According to French news daily L'Equipe, Inter have put together an audacious attempt to land the former AC Milan hero from current club Real Madrid.
The Brazilian midfielder left the Rossoneri in 2009 to join Madrid but his career at the Bernabeu has been dogged by injuries. Madrid manager Jose Mourinho still sees a role for Kaka in his team next season but the L'Equipe report claims he will accept an improved offer from Inter of 40million euros for the player.
Kaka has previously been linked with moves to Chelsea and AC Milan but he always maintained he would stay in the Spanish capital and prove his detractors wrong.
